Matt is a family man and has two children. A devoted husband and father, Matt has carved out a considerable amount of time volunteering as a Past Board Member for the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation (SPHF), Past Board Member of Power to Be, Past Vice President of Victoria Epilepsy & Parkinson’s Centre (VEPC), Past Board member of the Victoria Residential Builders Association (VRBA) and Past Director of the Sidney By the Sea Rotary Club.

Matt started his real estate career over 17 years ago, and later expanded his expertise by becoming an industry leader in rezoning and property development strategy. Having developed and/or built over 300 homes, ranging from single-family new construction, heritage conversations, townhomes, rental apartments and strata condos. He offers a unique perspective and valuable insights into the industry.

An award-winning professional, Matt received the Douglas Magazine 10 to Watch Award and was a finalist in the category of Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Awards. He was chosen as one of the Top 20 under 40 Business and Community Achievement Award winners on Vancouver Island. Matt also received the Building Better Futures Award and the Community Award from the VRBA for his work on affordable housing.
